IPS Performance Designer by HyPerformix provides the vision you need to commit to and deliver the right amount of service at the right costs - every time. By modeling your application's architecture, infrastructure, workload and resource requirements during the requirements, architecture and design stages, IPS Performance Designer provides answers to your questions on response time, integration, infrastructure and risk - all before any coding or programming begins.

With IPS Performance Designer, you can:

  • Predict the performance and resource utilization for a new application based on architecture, infrastructure and workload characteristics. Define the variables that will affect performance and validate that performance objectives can be achieved with the resources available. Make intelligent tradeoffs when there are discrepancies between actual and goal.
  • Scope application infrastructure and architecture design correctly. Ensure the availability of adequate infrastructure to support the service levels business units demand. Optimize existing resources and provide an accurate, quantitative justification for procurement of new systems.
  • Validate requirements and modify architecture and infrastructure to meet budgets and service levels. Create multiple scenarios and compare alternatives to ensure service level agreements are met while minimizing costs.
  • Provide business units with concrete data and assist in the decision-making process to achieve the best balance between performance, costs and risks.
